Zero Gravity Band

Light design

Sonar Festival, Barcelona.. 2018

A light design for the Zero Gravity Band project. Lead by Marc Marzenit (music) and Albert Barque-Duran (scientific concepts), the ZGB project explores how music and art must be performed in zero gravity situation. During a series of zero gravity flights a set of music was performed and recorded, and afterwards used as a basis for creating the whole sound experience in an ambisonics sound installation.

The lighting design concepts come from a research by Albert Duran on how to induce the perception of the lack of gravity, mimicking the effects of interstellar flights.
